Education & Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Experience working with children with special needs.
- Experience providing individualized instruction to students.
License/Certification:
Valid teaching certificate with one or more special education endorsements OR enrolled in an appropriate special education program.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide direct classroom supervision of 10-12 students in a small classroom setting of elementary age group.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children with special needs.
- Provide ongoing professional development to staff, students, parents, and community members.
